I had a problem where the 13 year old and incredibly Obsolete laptop I was using died. It died right before I could due a backup of very important information such as my passwords and the manuscripts I was working on. I was faced with losing Everything, including losing years of work as an author. A Nightmare that made me feel physically ill. I searched around, reviewed and checked out some places, found PCWhoop and contacted them. Not only was the price Very reasonable (and much lower than I was worried about as my budget offers little room for extras) but they achieved a complete recovery of all my information from the old laptop's HDD. You can easily imagine how relieved and happy that made me!! I am now looking to do a post-purchase upgrade of the RAM on my new laptop, contacted them about it and they got back to me in less than 24 hours. 1; They answered all my questions and gave me the information I need to plan this upgrade into my budget 2; They told me what would be involved regarding the mechanical side of things to do this upgrade and again left me very satisfied and feeling very secure in choosing them for help anytime a computer issue comes up. They're honest. They don't try to baffle you, they speak plain and make things understandable. Their prices are VERY reasonable for the high-calibre service and customer service they maintain!! They have a level of customer service that is--bluntly-speaking--superior to any of their competitors I checked out prior to engaging them for the data recovery. They leave you feeling secure when it comes to addressing computer issues. Solidly Professional, friendly, and when you ask a question you get a complete answer in plain language that allows you to really understand what's-what so you can make a properly-informed decision. They were able to successfully recover my data on my 2TB hard drive. They charge $150 if they can recover data with basic equipment, and if that doesn’t work, they use advanced machines, which costs $450. You only get charged if the data is actually recovered. I’m happy to have my data back, but the whole process took about a month, which felt like a long wait.

I recently had an issue with my laptop where the display light was so dim that I could barely see anything on the screen. After reaching out to several places, I was told there was nothing that could be done. However, when I took it to PCwhoop, they were able to repair the motherboard in just two days at a very reasonable price. The service was amazing, and I highly recommend them for any laptop repairs!

Lovely to deal with and super friendly. I came in with a printer that I bought online…and helped me to sort out issue…at no charge. Very kind. The printer was bought online with no software available anymore…and thought it was just me doing something wrong…but spent the time to help me diagnose and return to person I bought from. UPDATE: My MacBook key needed two keys replaced, as I am a writer, and kill my keys easily. I went to Mac store and told it would be a $1000, and better to trade in my beloved Mac. I went to PC Whoop and for $150 was able to keep my Mac...and not shell out for a new computer...or take a loss...as still lots of life in the Mac. This is my back up laptop, and not having to pay for a new backup was such a relief, as I cannot be without computer.

What a great, local store! Also, environmentally friendly to repair your laptop or purchase a secondhand one. The man who helped me gave me options for what to do with pros and cons. He obviously knew quite a bit about computers, and helped me choose the best option for me.

Was able to drop off my system and pickup the next day! I requested a laptop cleaning and to fix a potentially broken (very loud) laptop fan. PCwhoop was able to diagnose and repair the fan without needing any new parts; saving time (would have otherwise had to wait for this special part unique to the laptop) and money. The tech also gave the system a thorough cleaning/dusting; even removed the CPU/GPU heatsink then applying a fresh layer of thermal paste to both chips. My gaming laptop runs quieter, cooler than ever - like new again! Thank-you.

Staff are very friendly and informative! Lots of great deals for used laptops, desktops, keyboards and more electronics! Would highly recommend their services for anything technical related as well such as for laptops, computers, and battery repairs. Their iron man mouse in stock caught my attention! :D

I needed a simple repair done on my work laptop. I called multiple businesses and was given outrageous quotes and prices. I was even told that I had to buy extra parts and provide my own parts for the repair. I called PCwhoop. They were able to do the repair (without me having to order parts prior to taking it in) also, the turnaround time was phenomenal; far less then any other place I called previously. Professional staff, polite customer service and their price was exactly what I could afford. If you need repairs; consider taking your computer or laptop to PCwhoop. They helped me get back to work, ASAP with a low-cost and friendly repair.

Excellent service. Accidentally spilled soup on Macbook Air and it went into the internal components, as it was dripping out of the power port. Immediately took to PCwhoop and they were able to fix/clean the laptop for $385 total. A new keyboard was required but otherwise the computer works perfectly.

I have used their services a couple of times over a number of years since pre-pandemic time. All services I have had were related to laptop hardware, such as battery replacement. The services were always meeting or exceeding expectations and with very reasonable price. They can order parts on your behalf or you can bring parts in and have they install/replace it. Everyone work there I met is friendly and professional. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

I spilled coffee on my laptop. The store I bought it from wouldn't even look at it, said that it's not worth fixing and I might as well buy a new one. Pcwhoop was recommended by some neighbours. He had it back running, and it was quick and affordable.

All started couple months ago when I came in for a laptop cleaning up on my hp spectre 15. Brought it in for servicing, received it back as they discovered that my battery has inflated and was too dangerous to return, as well as a speaker had blown. Ordered a new battery through them, Brayden who worked there advised and kept me in the know at all steps of the process, including procurement, servicing, and costs. Ended up paying a reasonable amount for battery and install, and it was all smoothly completed within a 1 month time frame (even with bad shipping times nowadays). Hats off to Brayden at PCwhoop, will be coming back soon to inquire a custom PC build :)
