Earlier this week my computer quit. Dead. No power. I use my computer for all my business and personal stuff and for our classic rock and country band Crossroads that is based out of Red Deer. I need it every day dealing with clients and gigs. Anyhow, my husband was going to Edmonton in the morning and so went online and found a computer repair place in Edmonton. PCWhoop! He went there the next day, dropped it off and they gave him an idea right away what was wrong. When he was back in Edmonton the next day he was able to pick it up fully repaired. I am more than impressed. The last place I took my computer for repair it sat on the bench for 3 days before they could even start to look at it and then several more days to get it repaired. This has always been the norm in Red Deer for computer repair; slow and frustrating. I am so happy and so impressed with PCWhoop. Troubleshooting and diagnosis on my high end gaming desktop, found the problem quickly. Diagnosis is 55 dollars, if you choose to have them repair it, that 55 dollars is credited to the account. Repair was much cheaper than expected. They also had a USB to SD card adapter that I was having a hard time finding. Highly recommended, they don't jerk you around and fix whatever the issue is.

I was so happy with their service!!! I had a major repair needed for my laptop and I needed it quickly. Most places were telling me that I would need to wait 10 days and ship my laptop across the country. I stopped into PCwhoop on my way to work at 10am, no appointment. Just showed them my destroyed laptop and hoped for the best. They explained the issue, gave me some options, and by 4pm the same day, my laptop was fixed and ready to go! Price was very reasonable and exactly what the quoted. Overall, so happy I stopped in. I would definitely go there again!

What a great, local store! Also, environmentally friendly to repair your laptop or purchase a secondhand one. The man who helped me gave me options for what to do with pros and cons. He obviously knew quite a bit about computers, and helped me choose the best option for me.

I have used their services a couple of times over a number of years since pre-pandemic time. All services I have had were related to laptop hardware, such as battery replacement. The services were always meeting or exceeding expectations and with very reasonable price. They can order parts on your behalf or you can bring parts in and have they install/replace it. A couple of weeks ago, I visited PCWhoop, and I was very pleased with the excellent customer service and fair prices. All of my questions and concerns were addressed. It was important to them that I was satisfied with my purchase.

I phoned about a missing piece on a printer I was given. I had no idea what this piece on the back was called. So I emailed a picture and the person I talked to said it was a Duplexer. I would have never guessed that. So I didn't even buy anything, but I am not too far from them so now I will use them every chance I get. As in use them to buy stuff not in the bad way, LOL. The piece that is partially separated is the Duplexer.

I visited this shop today as my keyboard wasn't working. They were very professional and helpful and did not feel "sales-pitchy". I did not end up leaving my laptop to get fixed this time, but I definitely will be back if I need repairs next time. They felt like people I could trust! Thanks for your help today!
