The manager was very nice and very informative. He open up my 2017 Mac Book Pro to see if he could upgrade my memory but unfortunately he couldn't because Apple is dumb like that. But he blew it out with compressed air and told me it was free of charge. That was very nice of him, I'll definitely stop by if I actually have an issue they can fix.

  I phoned about a missing piece on a printer I was given. I had no idea what this piece on the back was called. So I emailed a picture and the person I talked to said it was a Duplexer. I would have never guessed that. So I didn't even buy anything, but I am not too far from them so now I will use them every chance I get. As in use them to buy stuff not in the bad way, LOL. The piece that is partially separated is the Duplexer.

  The technicians quickly diagnosed my dead external hard drive and recovered all my files. I'm very grateful for their quick and efficient work and they were able to help me not lose five years worth of information. Thank you

  Now that this place is under a new management, the service has improved. The prices are affordable. I brought my laptop in for a repair the other day, and they were able to diagnose the problem quickly and efficiently, they explained to me what was to be done and what I had to expect, and informed me approximately when my laptop would be ready. The whole process was smooth and fast.

  I have used their services a couple of times over a number of years since pre-pandemic time. All services I have had were related to laptop hardware, such as battery replacement. The services were always meeting or exceeding expectations and with very reasonable price. They can order parts on your behalf or you can bring parts in and have they install/replace it. Everyone work there I met is friendly and professional. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

Simple diagnostics of my computer was done and issues of it running slow and always freezing were fixed.   Lovely to deal with and super friendly. I came in with a printer that I bought online…and helped me to sort out issue…at no charge. Very kind. The printer was bought online with no software available anymore…and thought it was just me doing something wrong…but spent the time to help me diagnose and return to person I bought from.

  My laptop stopped connecting to the internet and it could not detect any external device either. I was panicked as I did not have backups of my recent work. So, I brought the laptop to PCwhoop. They fixed the issue and saved all my work. Amazing service.

  Was able to drop off my system and pickup the next day! I requested a laptop cleaning and to fix a potentially broken (very loud) laptop fan. PCwhoop was able to diagnose and repair the fan without needing any new parts; saving time (would have otherwise had to wait for this special part unique to the laptop) and money. The tech also gave the system a thorough cleaning/dusting; even removed the CPU/GPU heatsink then applying a fresh layer of thermal paste to both chips.   Brought my laptop in after it flew off my laptop stand onto the floor. They took a bit to diagnosis it but at the end they were able to find the issue and fixed it. Price was very reasonable. Saved me tons repairing it rather than replacing it!

  PCWhoop is the best computer repair company in Edmonton! They fix the hardest repairs with ease and fast service and are affordable. For e.g. they fixed our Macbook butterfly keyboard where every other repair company in Edmonton refused to, some IT guys said throw away the Macbook and just buy a new one. PCWhoop fixed it no problem and it works great. Most companies won't even repair Mac computers, nor order you parts. We even bought a gently used Macbook from them, and it was such a good deal and runs perfectly. I can't say enough good things about PCWhoop. I wouldn't trust anyone else.   These guys soldered some new capacitors onto my washing machine CCU board. Very quick, timely and cost effective! If you do not trust your own soldering skills, bring your board to these guys!
