Fast and affordable service! Patrick was very thorough and elaborated well on the procedures we needed to get my laptop fixed. You do half the payment before the labour and the other half when the service is done. Patrick was super chill and kind! Probably going to be my go to person now for any computer repairs.

  The manager was very nice and very informative. He open up my 2017 Mac Book Pro to see if he could upgrade my memory but unfortunately he couldn't because Apple is dumb like that. But he blew it out with compressed air and told me it was free of charge. That was very nice of him, I'll definitely stop by if I actually have an issue they can fix.

  PCWhoop is the best computer repair company in Edmonton! They fix the hardest repairs with ease and fast service and are affordable. For e.g. they fixed our Macbook butterfly keyboard where every other repair company in Edmonton refused to, some IT guys said throw away the Macbook and just buy a new one. PCWhoop fixed it no problem and it works great. Most companies won't even repair Mac computers, nor order you parts. We even bought a gently used Macbook from them, and it was such a good deal and runs perfectly. I can't say enough good things about PCWhoop. I wouldn't trust anyone else.   Great shop. I walked in half expecting a dingy old dark store with some music elitist behind the desk ready scoff at the handful of records I brought in for trade, but I got exactly the opposite. Super clean, bright, shop with a beyond nice owner working the desk. Gave me a more than fair price for my records while I snooped around. I'll definitely be back when I want to start collecting again!

  Lovely to deal with and super friendly. I came in with a printer that I bought online…and helped me to sort out issue…at no charge. Very kind. The printer was bought online with no software available anymore…and thought it was just me doing something wrong…but spent the time to help me diagnose and return to person I bought from.

  I phoned about a missing piece on a printer I was given. I had no idea what this piece on the back was called. So I emailed a picture and the person I talked to said it was a Duplexer. I would have never guessed that. So I didn't even buy anything, but I am not too far from them so now I will use them every chance I get. As in use them to buy stuff not in the bad way, LOL. The piece that is partially separated is the Duplexer.

  These guys soldered some new capacitors onto my washing machine CCU board. Very quick, timely and cost effective! If you do not trust your own soldering skills, bring your board to these guys!

  Brought my laptop in after it flew off my laptop stand onto the floor. They took a bit to diagnosis it but at the end they were able to find the issue and fixed it. Price was very reasonable. Saved me tons repairing it rather than replacing it!

  Troubleshooting and diagnosis on my high end gaming desktop, found the problem quickly. Diagnosis is 55 dollars, if you choose to have them repair it, that 55 dollars is credited to the account. Repair was much cheaper than expected. They also had a USB to SD card adapter that I was having a hard time finding. Highly recommended, they don't jerk you around and fix whatever the issue is.

  What a great, local store! Also, environmentally friendly to repair your laptop or purchase a secondhand one. The man who helped me gave me options for what to do with pros and cons. He obviously knew quite a bit about computers, and helped me choose the best option for me.

  Earlier this week my computer quit. Dead. No power. I use my computer for all my business and personal stuff and for our classic rock and country band Crossroads that is based out of Red Deer. I need it every day dealing with clients and gigs. Anyhow, my husband was going to Edmonton in the morning and so went online and found a computer repair place in Edmonton. PCWhoop! He went there the next day, dropped it off and they gave him an idea right away what was wrong. When he was back in Edmonton the next day he was able to pick it up fully repaired. I am more than impressed. The last place I took my computer for repair it sat on the bench for 3 days before they could even start to look at it and then several more days to get it repaired. This has always been the norm in Red Deer for computer repair; slow and frustrating. I am so happy and so impressed with PCWhoop.   I had a problem where the 13 year old and incredibly Obsolete laptop I was using died. It died right before I could due a backup of very important information such as my passwords and the manuscripts I was working on. I was faced with losing Everything, including losing years of work as an author. A Nightmare that made me feel physically ill.
