  All started couple months ago when I came in for a laptop cleaning up on my hp spectre 15. Brought it in for servicing, received it back as they discovered that my battery has inflated and was too dangerous to return, as well as a speaker had blown. Ordered a new battery through them, Brayden who worked there advised and kept me in the know at all steps of the process, including procurement, servicing, and costs. Ended up paying a reasonable amount for battery and install, and it was all smoothly completed within a 1 month time frame (even with bad shipping times nowadays).   Computer is currently waiting on parts and in their possession. But as of now they have been communicating regularly with info and status of where its at. Unfortantly the type of screen my lap top required had to come from across seas and will be a while in this current situation we are in. Again they have been very informative on progress and what is going on.

  Brought my laptop in after it flew off my laptop stand onto the floor. They took a bit to diagnosis it but at the end they were able to find the issue and fixed it. Price was very reasonable. Saved me tons repairing it rather than replacing it!

  Great shop. I walked in half expecting a dingy old dark store with some music elitist behind the desk ready scoff at the handful of records I brought in for trade, but I got exactly the opposite. Super clean, bright, shop with a beyond nice owner working the desk. Gave me a more than fair price for my records while I snooped around. I'll definitely be back when I want to start collecting again!

  I took my Mac laptop into them today and thought I would need a new mother board because that is what apple told me. Well they were wrong the guy looked at it held some buttons down, I think he reset it and it works just like before. I will continue to take any issues I have back to them they are good.

  Was able to drop off my system and pickup the next day! I requested a laptop cleaning and to fix a potentially broken (very loud) laptop fan. PCwhoop was able to diagnose and repair the fan without needing any new parts; saving time (would have otherwise had to wait for this special part unique to the laptop) and money. The tech also gave the system a thorough cleaning/dusting; even removed the CPU/GPU heatsink then applying a fresh layer of thermal paste to both chips.   PCWhoop is the best computer repair company in Edmonton! They fix the hardest repairs with ease and fast service and are affordable. For e.g. they fixed our Macbook butterfly keyboard where every other repair company in Edmonton refused to, some IT guys said throw away the Macbook and just buy a new one. PCWhoop fixed it no problem and it works great. Most companies won't even repair Mac computers, nor order you parts.   I have used their services a couple of times over a number of years since pre-pandemic time. All services I have had were related to laptop hardware, such as battery replacement. The services were always meeting or exceeding expectations and with very reasonable price. They can order parts on your behalf or you can bring parts in and have they install/replace it. Everyone work there I met is friendly and professional. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended.
